  • 2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. round steak, frozen 1 1/2 hours
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/4 c. oil (salad)
  • 1/4 c. canned tomato juice
  • 2 c. onions, sliced
  • 1/2 garlic, minced with a steel knife
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 c. boiling water

    With steel knife in place, process garlic in food processor until finely minced. Place slicing blade in place and process onions. Cut steak into 3 sections, cutting with the grain; place on top of each other and cut into 3-inch lengths, cutting across grain. Place in processor using a slicing blade and cut crosswise against grain.
