  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 c. rice (uncooked)
  • 1 can consomme plus enough water to make 2 c.
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    In large skillet on top of stove, melt margarine.

    Add onion and saute until tender.

    Add rice and brown a little.

    Add liquid, salt and parsley.
  5. 5
    Place in covered casserole and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Check in 30 minutes for consistency.
