- 1 Tbsp. melted shortening
- 2 c. self-rising meal
Directions

1Beat egg.

2Add milk and melted shortening.

3Add this to corn meal. Bake in hot, greased pan in the shape of bread sticks or ears of corn.

4Put in hot oven (450°).

5Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 12 sticks.
