- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 (17-ounce) cans cream-style corn
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Saute onion in oil in a 3-quart saucepan until tender. Stir in corn and peanut butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Stir in remaining ingredients; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts and chowder is thoroughly heated.
