Ingredients

  • 1 doz. ears corn
  • 6 white onions
  • 4 red peppers
  • 6 green peppers
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 pt. water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 2 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 2 hot peppers (optional)

Directions

    Cut corn from cob.

    Slice onions and peppers.

    Cut cabbage fine.

    Add all ingredients together.

    Boil together about 20 to 25 minutes.

    Thicken with flour, mixing flour with a little water first.

    Boil 15 minutes longer.

    Seal in sterilized canning jars.
