  • 6 c. cornbread, crumbled
  • 4 c. white bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 sage
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

Directions

    Prepare bread or use leftover bread.

    Cook celery, onion and bell pepper in 1 cup of water until tender.

    Mix all other ingredients.

    Pour into greased pan.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.

    Sprinkle top with paprika.
