- 2 tubes (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and cored
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 3/4 c. Mountain Dew soda
- Ground cinnamon
- Vanilla ice cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Unroll crescent rolls and separate dough into 16 triangles.

3Cut each apple into eight wedges.

4Wrap a crescent dough triangle around each apple wedge.

5Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.

6In a bowl, combine sugar and butter; sprinkle over rolls.

7Slowly pour the soda around the rolls (do not stir).

8Sprinkle with cinnamon.

9Bake, uncovered, for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.

10Serve warm with ice cream. Yield:
