  • 2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery or 2 Tbsp. celery flakes
  • 1 recipe cornbread
  • 4 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 lb. melted butter
  • 1 qt. stock (warm)

    Remove giblets from turkey in 1-quart of water.

    Bring to a boil, then simmer 1 1/2 hours.
