- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. soft butter
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 Tbsp. half and half
- 1 (15 oz.) pkg. white creamy frosting mix
- food coloring, as desired
Directions

1Combine cream cheese, half and half and butter in a heavy bottomed saucepan.

2Stir over low heat until cheese mixture is soft, creamy and butter is melted.

3Blend in the frosting mix and stir to blend well.

4Add peppermint extract and food coloring of your choice.

5You may divide the whole batch to make 2 to 3 different colors.

6Roll mixture into balls or drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper lined cookie sheet.

7Press with fork or stamp with cookie stamp for decorative design, if desired. Let mints stand, uncovered, at room temperature until firm and outside is dry.

8Inside should still be creamy.
