  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen corn
  • 34 cup skim milk
  • 34 cup half-and-half
  • 1 12 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 12 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 12 tablespoons flour
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper

Directions

    Place corn kernels, half and half, milk, salt , sugar, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan.

    Bring to a slow, low boil beginning on medium heat, stirring frequently.

    Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.

    Melt butter in the microwave, or in a small saucepan on low heat.

    Whisk in flour until smooth.

    Stir into the corn until well blended.

    Cook at low until mixture gets nice consistency - approximately 7 minutes.
