  • 6 oz. margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. Golden Syrup (Lyle's Golden Syrup from England)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. coconut

Directions

    Melt margarine over a pot of boiling water. Add Golden Syrup and baking soda. Add oats, sugar, flour and coconut. Smooth into pan. Bake at 325° for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in for an additional 25 minutes.
