Ingredients

  • about 24 medium cucumbers
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 8 c. water
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 c. mustard seed (or a little more)
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed

Directions

    Wash and slice cucumbers. Combine salt and water. Pour over cukes. Let stand 5 hours; drain and rinse thoroughly.

    Mix remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Pour over cukes. Bring back only to a boil in pan. Pack in hot jars.

    No need to process.
