Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 lb. pitted dates, chopped
  • coconut

Directions

    Cook margarine with sugar on low heat on stove.
  2. 2
    Add egg and dates, stirring until mixture is thick paste.
  3. 3
    Remove from heat and cool at room temperature.
  4. 4
    Add Rice Krispies.
  5. 5
    When cool enough, roll and shape into balls and roll in coconut.
