- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 pkg. chopped pitted dates (8 oz.)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix the butter, nuts, sugar, egg, dates and salt over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix and mash well.

2Cool.

3Add the Rice Krispies and vanilla. Roll into 1-inch balls and roll in coconut.
