  • 8 medium peaches, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brandy
  • confectioners sugar
  • pastry (in 2 parts), thinly rolled

Directions

    Roll pastry to cover sides and bottom of a 3-inch deep quart casserole.

    Put peaches in. Add sugar and brandy.

    Cover with pastry; slash.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes; reduce to 350°. Dredge with confectioners sugar and bake 5 minutes more.
