  • 1 can applesauce (sweetened)
  • 1 can pineapple (crushed)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Dump applesauce into pan and spread evenly.

    Then dump pineapple on top of applesauce and then spread evenly again.

    Spread the cake mix on top of mixture.

    Pour the melted butter on top of the cake mix.

    Now sprinkle the chopped nuts on top of butter.

    (Note: Do not stir.)
