  • 2 sticks butter or margarine, melted
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Measure and sift dry ingredients into bowl.

    Add melted butter, eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.

    Fold in nuts.

    Pour into greased and floured 10 1/2 x 15 1/2-inch pan and bake for 20 minutes in 350° oven.

    Cool 5 minutes and frost.
