Ingredients

  • 300 grams Thinly sliced beef
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2/3 Carrot
  • 1/2 to 1 bunch Chinese chives
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 2/3 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 2 tbsp Ground white sesame seeds
  • 1 to 2 cloves Grated garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp - see Gochujang
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Ichimi chili pepper powder

Directions

    Cut the carrot into 5 cm matchsticks.

    Cut the chives into 5 cm pieces.

    Slice the onion thinly.

    Mix the ingredients together.

    Put the meat and the combined sauce from Step 1 in a frying pan and let rest for 15 minutes.

    Add the vegetables to the pan, and let rest until the vegetables have wilted.

    When the vegetables have wilted, stir-fry over high heat.
