- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas (also known as garbanzo beans)
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic (the convenience garlic in a jar works well for this)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (bottled lemon juice works well for this)
- 1 dash cayenne (optional)
Directions

1Rinse the garbanzo beans and set aside to drain in a colander.

2Set up your food processor.

3Use the blade.

4Add the beans and the ranch dressing to the food processor.

5Process this into a uniform paste.

6Add the remaining ingredients and process for a few more seconds, just long enough to blend the ingredients.

7The hummus is done and is ready to serve.
