  • 1 cup milk
  • 180 grams margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dried fruit. (raisins/sultanas/bakers mix)
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180degrees Celcius

    Place margarine, dried fruit, milk and sugar in a saucepan and boil.

    Cinnamon can be added at this stage or later
  4. 4
    Sift the flour ,baking powder, salt and cinnamon together in a bowl.

    Once boiled ingredients have cooled down, blend them with the dry ingredients

    Blend the eggs into the mixture, avoid overbeating and crushing the fruits
  7. 7
    Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for about 30minutes
