Ingredients

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into pieces
  • diced celery to cover
  • diced green pepper to cover
  • 1 Bermuda onion, sliced thin and separated into rings
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked
  • 2 c. mayonnaise plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 or more slices cooked, crisp bacon, broken up

    Do not mix ingredients!

    Place each layer on top of the others in the order listed.

    Cover tightly; use Saran Wrap and foil. Don't peek.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Toss immediately before serving.
