- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (not self-rising)
- shortening
Directions

1Mix into a bowl, buttermilk, soda, salt and baking powder. Stir until batter is smooth.

2Add flour and stir until batter is of a pancake batter consistency.

3Melt shortening in a pan and cook as you would pancakes, at a medium temperature.
