  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can wax beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, finely chopped
  • 4 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. olive oil (vegetable oil may be substituted)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. coarse ground black pepper

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Stir until sugar dissolves.

    Add green pepper and onions.

    Stir. Add beans and gently toss.

    Cover and refrigerate until chilled or overnight.

    Yields 10 to 12 servings.
