Four Layer Chocolate Dream

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans (or Walnuts)
  • 1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 16 ounces, weight Cool Whip
  • 8 ounces, weight Package Cream Cheese
  • 2 packages (small 3.4 Oz. Package) Instant Chocolate Pudding Mixes
  • 3 cups Milk

    FIRST LAYER:

    Mix together the flour, butter and chopped nuts and spread on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish (after spraying it liberally with Pam). BAKE for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.

    SECOND LAYER:

    Mix half of the Cool Whip, the powdered sugar, cream cheese and spread on top of the first layer.

    THIRD LAYER:

    Mix the instant chocolate pudding mix with the milk until fluffy. Spread over the second layer.

    FOURTH LAYER:

    Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the third layer and sprinkle with nuts.
