- 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour or 2 1/2 to 3 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or 1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1/2 c. fruit juice
- 3 1/2 to 4 c. fruit, drained
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Cook the first four ingredients over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.

2Pour over the drained fruit.

3Mix lightly and pour into a 9-inch pie crust.

4Dot with butter on top of fruit.

5Cover with crust which has slits cut in.

6Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, turn oven down to 350° for 30 to 40 minutes until crust is golden brown.
