- 2/3 c. molasses
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2/3 c. cold water
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine eggs, molasses, butter and water; mix well.

2In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, ginger and salt; add molasses to mixture.

3Beat until well mixed.

4Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
