  • 1 lb. rolled oats (6 c.)
  • 1 c. shredded coconut (preferably unsweetened)
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped
  • 1 c. hulled sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 24 pitted dates

Directions

    Combine oats, coconut, nuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seed and wheat germ in a large bowl.

    Heat together oil and honey in microwave or on stovetop until almost boiling.

    Stir into dry mixture, mixing well.

    Spread a third of mixture in shallow pan. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Repeat with remaining mixture.
