Ground Beef Pie

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 3 garlic cloves (smashed)
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 14 cup olive oil
- 12 cup raisins
- 3 cups cooked rice
Directions

1Prepare the rice using 1/2 cup more of water.

2When ready set aside.

3In a fryer pan mix oil, onion, garlic, salt and pepper in a medium heat until the onion is tender.

4Add tomatoes and tomato paste and keep in medium heat for about 7 minutes.

5At this point add the groundbeef and fry it well.

6If the mix is too dry add some water and let it boil.

7Add the raisins and cook for 3 more minutes.

8Use a 9 x 9 inch pan to make the pie spraying oil before to press the first layer of rice.

9Spread the groundbeef mixture over the rice and cover with another layer of rice pressing firmly.

10For garnish spread grated boiled egg and parsley (optional).
