- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
- milk
- 2 lb. halibut steak
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 1/4 to 1/2 lb. grated cheese (Cheddar or Velveeta)
- bread crumbs or croutons
Directions

1Boil halibut about 15 minutes in water (until it nearly flakes).

2Do not overcook fish.

3Drain fish.

4Leave fish in fair size chunks, about 1 1/2 inches.

5Put soup in a greased casserole dish.

6Add 1 soup can of milk.

7Add fish.

8Top with egg, then cheese, then bread crumbs.

9Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve on biscuits or toast points.
