  • 3 c. refrigerated hash brown potatoes or loose pack frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 c. diced or shredded cooked ham
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 4 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt

Directions

    If you're using frozen hash brown potatoes, press them between paper towels to remove moisture.

    Press hash browns onto bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate to form a crust.

    Drizzle melted margarine over crust.

    Preheat oven at 425°.

    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned.

    Remove from oven.

    Reduce oven to 350°.
