  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups garbanzo beans cooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup water
  • pepper
  • salt

Directions

    Pour the olive oil into a pan and heat on low. Cook the garlic cloves until they become a light brown color.

    Turn off the stove and let the oil and garlic cool down.

    Add all of the ingredients (including the oil and garlic) and blend in a food processor or blender until a thick paste is formed.

    Add salt and pepper, mix well and serve.
