  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup steel cut oats Irish Oats
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar

Directions

    In a medium suacepan over medium-high heat, combine the water and salt.

    Bring to a boil. Gradually add the oats, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and simmer. Stir frequently til water is absorbed and oats creamy, about 30 minutes. Divide cooked oats into 4 bowls. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of brown sugar on each bowl of oats. Serve immediately.
