  • 1 broccoli lrg Bunch
  • 1 onion small, chopped
  • 8 garlic lrgs Cloves fresh, chopped
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg beaten lightly
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Steam or boil broccoli until tender.

    Drain and mash as you would potatoes, leaving small bits of broccoli.

    In large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil.

    When onion begins to brown, add broccoli and stir to mix.

    Add bread crumbs and cheese and stir until well blended.

    Remove from heat and add egg.

    Stir again to blend; add seasonings and stir again.

    Place in casserole and, when ready to
