  • 1 qt. plus 1/3 c. hot milk
  • 3/4 loaf Italian sliced bread, broken in pieces
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. raisins
  • 1 medium apple, grated
  • 3 Tbsp. brandy

Directions

    Soak bread in hot milk.

    Set aside.

    Beat together eggs and sugar.

    Add to soaked bread/milk mixture.

    Add vanilla, raisins and grated apple.

    Add brandy last.

    Bake in well-greased pan at 350° for 1 hour.
