- 6 to 7 medium potatoes
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. dry onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. melted butter plus 1/4 c. melted butter
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 c. cracker or bread crumbs
Directions

1Boil the potatoes in skins about 1/2 hour.

2Cool in refrigerator, then peel and grate.

3Mix together potatoes, Cheddar cheese, dry onion, soup, 1/2 cup melted butter and sour cream. Press into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

4Before baking, sprinkle cracker (or bread) crumbs and pour 1/4 cup melted butter over top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
