Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, pinched apart
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas (uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
  • 1 medium onion (red makes good color)
  • 1 c. mayo, mixed with 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 to 6 oz. grated cheese
  • bacon bits (sprinkle on top)

    In a large glass bowl, layer ingredients in order.

    Cover and place in refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours.

    Toss lightly at the table.
