Lazy-Way Beef Burgundy

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. beef cubes
  • 1 c. burgundy OR dry wine (red)
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. med. egg noodles
  • 1 lg. onion, sliced
  • 2 cans (10 1/2 oz. each) beef consomme
  • 1/3 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
  • 3 qts. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley

Directions

    Place beef cubes, onion, wine and consomme in a 2 1/2 qt. casserole.

    Mix flour and bread crumbs together; add to casserole. Stir all ingredients together until completely blended. Cover.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until meat is tender...stirring once every hour.
