  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 1/3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 lb. crystallized cherries
  • 1 lb. crystallized pineapple
  • 4 c. nuts

    Add the beaten eggs and flour. Add the remaining ingredients.

    Cook slow (275° to 300°) for about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hours in a tube pan.
