Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) frzn lobster tails
  • 1 tbsp. mixed pickling spices
  • 1 slice onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Lemon juice
  • Bottled cocktail sauce or possibly tartar sauce

Directions

    Cook lobster tails with pickling spices, onions and salt, following label directions.

    Drain and cook completely.

    With scissors, cut through and remove the thick membrane on underside of shell.

    Take out lobster meat by peeling hard shell back with fingers of one hand and pulling meat toward you with the other.

    Cut meat into 1/2 inch thick slices, sprinkle with lemon juice.

    Cover.

    Chill.

    Serve with a dip of bottled cocktail sauce.
