  • 1 (16 oz.) box macaroni
  • 2 1/2 lb. cheese (American), cut in cubes
  • 1 c. milk (whole or skim)
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 stick margarine or butter

    Bring 4 cups water to boil, adding salt to taste.

    Add macaroni to boiling water; cook until tender.

    Pour in strainer to drain all water, then place in pot.

    Add cheese and eggs immediately.

    Mix ingredients to melt cheese.

    salt, if needed; blend well.

    Pour in 1.5 quart casserole dish.
