Ingredients

  • 5 lb. shrimp, boiled in salted water
  • 2 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 jar capers and juice
  • few bay leaves
  • 1 or 2 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 2 Bermuda onions, sliced

Directions

    Boil shrimp in salted water until done; drain.

    Mix the rest of the ingredients in large covered bowl.

    Add drained shrimp and marinate in refrigerator for at least 3 days.
