  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
