  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (2 lb.) loaf Pepperidge Farm bread
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Cream first 3 ingredients until smooth.

    Trim crusts from bread and roll each slice thin.
  3. 3
    Spread with cheese mixture and fold in thirds.

    Dip in melted butter and freeze on cookie sheets. When partially frozen, cut in half and bake in 400° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Serve with dish of strawberry preserves for dipping.

    Can be made ahead and kept frozen.
