- 1 teaspoon canola or corn oil
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 12 raw peeled shrimp (about 6 ounces), rinsed and patted dry
- 5 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, all visible fat discarded, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
- 5 ounces boneless sirloin steak, all visible fat discarded, cut into 1-inch cubes
Directions

1In a large shallow glass dish, stir together the ingredients for your choice of marinade.

2Add the shrimp, chicken, and steak, turning to coat.

3Cover and refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes.

4Meanwhile, preheat the grill on medium high.

5Remove the shrimp, chicken, and steak from the marinade, letting any excess drip off.

6Discard the marinade.

7Thread the kebab ingredients alternately on four 10-inch metal skewers.

8Grill the kebabs for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turns pink and is cooked through, the chicken is no longer pink in the center, and the steak is the desired doneness.
