- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 6 c. flour (plain)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 stick melted margarine
Directions

1Completely dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

2Set aside.

3Mix Crisco, sugar and salt. Add boiling water. Cool slightly.

4Add beaten eggs and mix.

5Add flour and yeast alternating.

6Mix thoroughly. Cover and let rise until double in bulk.

7Flatten on lightly floured board until about 1/2-inch thick.

8Cut with biscuit cutter. Dip each piece in melted margarine and place in alternate layers in Bundt pan. Cover and let rise until double. Bake at 300° about 1 hour.
