- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 36 ounces beef top loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick
Directions

1To toast cumin seeds, place in a small heavy saucepan and cook over medium heat until aromatic, 1 to 2 minutes.

2Slightly crush cumin seeds and combine with brown sugar, cinnamon, oregano, salt, cayenne pepper., and garlic powder.

3Trim fat from steaks, then rub all over with spice mix.

4Coat grill with nonstick cooking spray and prepare for medium direct heat.

5Grill steaks, turning once, to desired doneness; 11-15 minutes for medium rare, 14-18 minutes for medium.
