  • 12 -15 fresh button mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons shallow fry oil
  • 2 tablespoons shallow fry oil
  • 3 medium onions (chopped)
  • 4 large potatoes (boiled and mashed)
  • 2 -3 green chilies (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  • salt
  • 1 cup semolina (rawa or suji)

Directions

    Boil mushrooms in water for about ten minutes.

    Drain and chop them finely.Heat oil in a pan.

    Add onions and saute till soft and translucent.

    Add mushrooms and saute till all the moisture gets evaporated.

    Take potatoes in a bowl.

    Add green chillies to the mushrooms and mix.

    Add this mixture to the potatoes and mix well.

    Add coriander leaves and salt and mix.Heat oil in a pan.

    Keep semolina in a plate.

    Shape the mixture into tikkis.

    Roll them in semolina, press slightly and shallow fry till golden.Serve hot.
