- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. extremely fine noodles
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. regular uncooked long grain rice
- about 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can onion soup
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- sliced toasted almonds
Directions

1Saute raw noodles in butter in a saucepan until just golden. Add all other ingredients, except almonds.

2Cover; simmer until rice is done, about 30 minutes, adding a little more broth if necessary to keep rice moist.

3Turn into buttered casserole. Sprinkle with almonds.

4Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 30 minutes.
