  • 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Orange Flavor Gelatin, divided
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 can (15 oz.) mandarin oranges in light syrup, drained
  • 4 maraschino cherry halves (optional)

Directions

    Dissolve 1 pkg.

    of the gelatin in boiling water.

    Gradually add ice cream, stirring with wire whisk until well blended.

    Spoon evenly into 8 dessert cups.

    Refrigerate 20 min.

    or until chilled.

    Prepare remaining gelatin as directed on package.

    Arrange orange segments and cherries over refrigerated gelatin mixture.
