- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup white sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan.

3Cream butter or margarine and 1 cup sugar.

4Add eggs, and beat well with an electric mixer at medium speed.

5Mix in sour cream and vanilla.

6Combine flour and baking soda: add to creamed mixture, blending just until moistened.

7Stir in raisins, walnuts, and orange rind.

8Mix well.

9Pour batter into prepared pan.

10Bake for 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick comes out clean.

11Cool cake in pan for 5 minutes.

12Dissolve 1/2 cup sugar in orange juice.

13Pour over hot cake.
